branding, Art Direction, Print production
World Bank recently unveiled a new program that streamlines multiple lending processes into one—STEP, Systematic Tracking in Exchanges and Procurement. Social Driver partnered with World Bank to create a simple, unified logo emphasizing approachability and clarity, while maintaining the professional aesthetic of the World Bank.
Under a condensed timeline, we presented three complete concepts, refined the chosen option, and began integrating the new logo into both digital and print collateral. The result? A brand that takes a complex idea like procurement and simplifies it to appeal to general audiences and finance professionals alike.
This project was a collaboration between myself and our design director. We iterated on the logo then split the work between a print piece and a video. I took the lead on unifying the brand under an illustration style that was manipulated between pieces. I then created storyboard and worked directly with a producer to create the animated video.
